wing of a egyptian goose by SwarzezTier wing of a egyptian goose by SwarzezTier
Done with a blue ballpoint pen
while listening to 10 CDs (of In Extremo, Schandmaul and Subway to Sally).
It is around 50 x 70 cm, the paper.

I have got two prepared wings of these.

it reminds of durer and his european roller wing drawing. Wow.
I love it! Excellent work and an excellent taste of music!

Danke.

Yes, it took a bit of time.. But with a ballpoint pen you can also work as good as with a pencil :-)

O_O The detail is amazing! I can't believe you got through this with a ballpoint pen, too.

The textures on the feathers are really, really nice, especially on the left side of the picture.

Keep up the good work!

Wow this is amazing...I hate drawing wings, so I really appreciate this.
And so much detail...spectacular!
May I suggest changing the color through photo editing to dark brown and putting a warming filter on it? Wings are meant to be warm colored, imo...but that's just my opinion, so you don't have to listen to me. =P

Maybe i'll try it. But i work on black wings drawn with a black crayon at the moment, and maybe i'll draw the left wing or the backside of these one here in red/brown again? ^^

Well you don't have to actually do it in that color! You can just edit it on photoshop or something. And it's just a suggestion. You don't have to listen to me. xD
