Hallo zusammen,

im Frühjahr! gab es an meiner Kunstakademie einen Wettbewerb für einen Kalender für NRW 2017.
Ich habe da mit einem auf dieser Arbeit basierten Bild gewonnen  - Mein Kalenderblatt ist für der Monat August



Der ganze Kalender setzt sich auch Arbeiten von Studenten und Ehemaligen Studenten der Kunstakademie Münster zusammen und ist sehr bunt gemischt.
68 x 47 cm ist der groß

I am back since a few weeks now from Gent KASK.
Was a good time there, got inspiration of the works of others and the time together with art students from KASK and my academy.
During the time i decided to show 16 black paintings with chinese ink, all done outside on grassland.
Each 1 meter x 0,7 meter in size and done with chinese ink, water, wind and sun and thick paper
Name of the work is: Swarzmaar I - XVI
Here are a  few pictures. Because we showed our works in the Zwarte Saal (which has a black wall and many windows) pictures aren't that good but i will take single shots of the paintings soon.

 

I take part at an exhibition in Gent, Belgium with some of my classamtes presenting works there, too!
Our academy and their art academy doing an exhibition swap/trade somehow
It will take place 17 - 22th of April, Sunday will be an everything open to have a look day at the KASK Gent.
I will already go there some days before to have a look to Gent and prepare my work.
I am not 100% sure what to show there, sp far maybe some work with ink and burned paper - let's see.

Ah and the exhibiton i will visit will take place from 8th April till 30 October in Essem, Folkwang museum and is about (a) Curiositiy Collection
I already saw a part of this collection in Berlin and love it so for sure will got there one or two times.
